Kahului, Hawaii – December 2, 2012: Kona wind flow has forced the fourth consecutive lay day at the KSP World Championship tour final on Maui. International competitors from 18 countries remain on standby for the first possible start of the Ho’okipa Kite Surf Pro as soon as wind conditions permit.
“The wave is really good here in Ho’okipa,” said reigning KSP World Champion Airton Cozzolino (ITA, North) following his interview in this morning’s live broadcast. “The forecast looks better for the end of the week and I really hope we make the finals in the best conditions.”
Contest directors will reconvene at Ho’okipa to assess conditions tomorrow morning for a first possible start. Tune in at 9am to watch the live call and morning show on www.kspworldtour.com/live.
